For a small cat, the same amount of food poses a proportionally larger risk. Plain sushi rice itself is not toxic, but soy sauce is high in sodium and the other common sushi toppings like wasabi, ginger, and raw fish are not safe for cats. Watch your cat for vomiting, diarrhea, or lethargy over the next day, and contact your regular vet if you see any of these signs.
