Short answer

Watch for drooling, vomiting, or diarrhea, which can start within a few hours. These signs are usually due to the acidic juice and peel oils irritating the stomach. Most cases are mild and resolve on their own within a day. Offer plain water, keep an eye on your dog, and contact your vet if the vomiting is persistent or severe.
